Ready to go

9 months ago my husband told me that we were going to yemen…Yemen? I thought. At that time moving to another country was the farthest thing from my mind and i wasn’t planning on the thought visiting it any time soon. Prior to us getting married it was my dream of going over seas to study amongst my sisters in Islam in an all muslim country ..but somewhere between marriage and finding out i was pregnant changed my whole idea of life over the waters …The whispers of the Shaytaan soon began and I became overwhelmed with worry and stress. How are we going to make it in a developing country with no money and no way of making any was my biggest concern. Especially with the new addition to the family. With some very good advice and plenty of du’a I realized that we as muslims have to adhere to the qadr (pre-destination) no matter the outcome. Whatever is meant to happen to us will happen and whatever is meant to pass us by will… all by the permission of Allah. So with that in mind I’ve come to where I am now. I’m ready to go. It’s approxitmately 2 months from the date of departure and i am sooo anxious… I have to admit i don’t want to leave behind my love ones but inshallah my leaving will soon benefit us more than we can imagine bi ithnillah.. Other than that i can honestly say that there is nothing that i will miss from this land of Kufr…Okay maybe McDonalds and Herr’s Kettle Cooked Jelopeno(pardon the spelling) potato chips…But trust me the sacrifice is far less than the gain that’s to come inshallah.
